What happens in the school?
Hi everybody!!
Summer is over, but Autumn is taking something new and exciting to our school.
We kept contact with the association “Cittadini del Mondo” (citizens of the world), an organization born in Florence in 2004 that helps students from every country who are part of the Erasmus Program (an European exchange program at university level) to meet and create moments of integration between the many cultures and lifestyles now in town.
Where and when this meeting? But for an aperitivo of course! It is a speciality of Italian barrooms and pubs: from 7pm on you can pick and taste appetizers à buffet, paying only for a drink.
The main activity of Cittadini del Mondo consists just of this weekly meetings!
From now on our students too will have the opportunity of taking part to these meetings and to all the activities of Cittadini del Mondo.
Every week a teacher from the school will take them to the “Erasmus Aperitivo” in order to introduce them to the other “citizens of the world”!!

FESTIVAL OF CREATIVITY
15 - 18 October 2009 in Florence
The city of the future, the future of the city
A double meaning title?
In 2050 over 80% of the world population will live in “urbanized contexts”. Therefore the city is the place where creativity becomes innovation, production and development and intends to go over technology, talent and tolerance.
This fifth edition of the festival, dedicated to contemporary projects and languages, presents again the image of Florence and Tuscany as real culture medium of creativity.
It is an event structured in meetings, shows, workshops, informatics nets where, in an open participation context, web and most advanced social networking users meet.
